Lori L. Nunn

Of Counsel

During her expansive tenure as an assistant district attorney, Lori faithfully served the 19th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for 22 years, ending her ascent through the office ranks as a Special Prosecutor for the Juvenile Violent Crimes division. In 2013, District Attorney John DeRosier, of the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office, hired Nunn to serve as a Special Felony Prosecutor, where, with her years of experience in the criminal prosecutorial field, she reviewed and litigated felony cases.

Nunn was commissioned with the arduous task of rebuilding the office’s Severe Child Abuse Division, which included mentoring young and aspiring attorneys and office staff members within her division, while maintaining a litany of courtroom appearances. During her time with the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office, Nunn litigated severe child abuse cases, including homicides and sex crimes. In addition to serving as the Severe Child Abuse Division’s Special Prosecutor, Nunn was instrumental in the planning and organizing stages of the parish’s Fresh Start Initiative Program-an award-winning program that hosted hundreds of eligible expungement applicants.

Nunn believes her knowledge both inside and outside the courtroom will pay infinite dividends to Sudduth & Associates and its clients. Nunn is looking forward to assisting clients who are seeking their own fresh start.
